This gate is custom designed to provide the ultimate protection from
vehicular intrusion while aesthetically enhancing its surroundings.
Its incredible stopping power comes from tubular steel crash beams.
The gate posts are 10" by 10" steel stanchions set 5' deep
in concrete. An ornamental gate may be mounted on the crash gate to
match adjacent fences or structures. This gate is designed to withstand
the impact of a 15,000 lb. vehicle traveling at 50 mph (DOS K12 crash
rating). A crash rating certification will be provided. Early versions
of this gate are currently in use by the U.S. government and in the
MiddleEast.
The prominence of this gate and its strength-of-construction makes it
a visible deterrent and ideally suited for locations where the protection
of roadway entrances is essential. This gate is suited for occasional
or frequent use and may be operated in the parade or single vehicle
mode.
This gate is delivered assembled and ready for installation with minimal
site excavation. High water table, bedrock, or underground cables and
pipes are generally not a problem. It may be mounted over any roadway
surface and all components are accessible, but tamperproof. A shallow
mount design is available if required.
