Concrete Barrier Gatepatent pending
This gate provides full protection from vehicular intrusion in locations
where a temporary concrete barrier wall with a gate is desired.
It
is also suitable for use where penetration or excavation of the ground
is prohibited or where conditions make it impractical to erect standard
gates or barriers. These locations can be protected with this gate
assembly and just two concrete barriers.This system uses cables to
snare and stop vehicles much as aircraft carriers halt jet planes.
This gate system is provided to meet the customers desired dimensions.
A variety of gate types and styles are available. Fence may be added
to prevent pedestrian intrusion if the vehicular barrier wall is being
used to reinforce an existing fence.
This gate's surface-mounted transportable design makes it ideal for
temporary use, or where the ingress and egress control point requires
relocating.
The gate is delivered in three primary pieces - two steel saddles
and the gate assembly itself.Each saddle is secured firmly to an end
of a concrete barrier and acts as a gate post for mounting the gate.
Vertical pins and locks are used for securing the gate's cables to
the steel eye bolts in the ends of the barriers. To open the gate
the pin is removed from the tamper-proof lock on the latch end and
the gate swings free.
